By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

In my opinion, so far, by miles is the best car insurance company I've joined. Excellent way of paying insurance for those who don't travel a lot. I love the fact I can check on my App how many miles I have done that day and the cost. Also if there is a problem with your car (I think it depends upon the fault however) the App will tell you there is an issue. The recommending friends and family and the perks you get for doing so is excellent, even though I have recommended to strangers and totally forgotten to give them my details to get the perks, but I'm still using my free £50 credit from my sisters partner recommending me, and that was months ago, so I'm very happy with By Miles all round! The customer service is also fantastic I may add! I don't think I will have to have the hassle of shopping around for the cheapest car insurance every year anymore, which is a nice relief! Best car insurance around!

Finally, car insurance that is priced fairly and not more than the price of my car! The customer experience is fantastic! It’s so quick to get a quote and take out a policy, you only pay for the miles you drive (after the upfront fee) and the app is very useful and even tells you if your car has a fault! I also found it very amusing that my policy number is not a bunch of letters and numbers, it is 3 random words! Reviewed on: 15th August 2019

Had a renewal quote from my previous insurer and even after having another years driving experience and no claims it hardly dropped down in price and that after speaking with them directly. Then I had a email from a comparison website and top of the list was "by miles" with an unbelievable quote! Almost too good to be true. So rang them up to find out more and was more than impressed with how it worked plus how friendly and helpful they were. Saved not far off £300 choosing this company and been happy since. You pay a small premium for the year to cover your car when it's parked then pay per mile (mine worked out at 4p per mile!!)
