By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I have been driving and paying the required insurance for about 50years this is the first time that I feel the satisfaction that I’m actually getting value for the money I’m paying .By miles insurance is the cover that wraps around when needed .I am a new customer who is very satisfied ,happy & content. Excellent telephone communication, easy set up and what appears great value. I am a very low mileage driver so this form of insurance is good for me. I like the app on my 'phone too. Highly recommended for others in a similar situation. Also if I covered 10,000 miles in the year (I normally do around 3,000), I would still pay less than my previous insurer.
