Great Idea

Great Idea for those who do not drive often or do short journeys Reviewed on: 28th September 2017

Fantastic and intuitive that is sure to change the industry

Having used By Miles for a few months now I have found the process easy and simple. From day one where I received the By Miles box, the instructions provided were easy to follow and the app download has been a great feature of the service, one that I find invaluable having using my mobile phone for most of my day to say activities. The app helps you track your journey cost and mileage which I have found really helpful especially for someone who drives alot and it gives me a good idea of how many miles I do per month. The other app features such as find my car have helped me out where I was in a situation where I could not find my car in this enormous car park and the app saved me alot of time in finding it! The By Miles team have also delivered outstanding customer service via their app messaging system and definitely one I prefer since it's better than listening to hold music for ages. I would highly recommend the app and service to anyone who is looking at pay per mile insurance coupled with superb customer service! Reviewed on: 28th September 2017

Great concept for low mileage drivers

Excellent and practical!

The crew that have thought of and designed ByMiles have done a fantastic job. Their service is outstanding and I would 100% recommend ByMiles to friends and family on the basis of ease, service and practicality. I'm driving a lot lately so I expect this month would be expensive - but as a relatively new driver I can't fault the idea at all. Usually I only drive to work and back (and during the first trial, to sixth form and back) and only paying for the miles I use could make my insurance a lot cheaper. Additionally, I would expect that this type of insurance would also lower the amount of people doing silly trips! A 5 minute drive is a 15 minute walk, and I think people would want to save a few pence by walking - which is great! I look forward to seeing the progress ByMiles make! Convienant insurance for a city girl

Relevant and cost-sensible offering

I am a 53-year old, very occasional driver with 30 years' accident-free driving experience, but otherwise facing outrageous insurance premiums in the UK - as a non-Brit with little insurance/no claims history here. So, this offering is right for me. Reviewed on: 28th September 2017

Much needed choice in the market

At last a real way to differentiate between high and low mileage drivers. Once this is proved I can see other options being added eg. What about where you drive? Quiet country lanes vs big city centres. Reviewed on: 28th September 2017

Shaping the future of car insurance

As a city worker I can't wait to purchase this insurance. My car sits stationary Monday to Friday yet my current insurance charges me for using all week long. The insurance market needs a little shake up and I believe By Miles is the one to do it. Reviewed on: 28th September 2017
