By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Since being recommended By Miles car insurance, I have been very impressed with the ease of set up, the quality of the app itself (I particularly like the fact you are notified of every journey and how much it has cost) and the customer service. Great insurance provider

So happy I discovered By Miles as it's the perfect insurance provider for me as a motorist. I have a car that I don't use that often as I commute to work by train. So to only need to pay for the miles I actually drive is amazing. Not having a large direct debit come out of my account each month for a car I've barely driven has been amazing. I also enjoy using the app and getting miles and cost updates. Highly recommend if you have a car you don't use everyday. Reviewed on: 1st August 2019

I was facing a ridiculously high premium for my renewal and stumbled upon ByMiles just by chance. I was very frustrated at the thought of having to pay so much for the such little mileage I do! Quick Google search, I saw others very happy with the service and after seeing my quote I didn't hesitate to sign up. My first payment to ByMiles was more than half the price of my monthly premium last year! The app is brilliant and the "find my car" feature is very handy. They're customer service is so quick and helpful too. If you want FAIR and professional car insurance, you can't go wrong with ByMiles. Reviewed on: 1st August 2019

Way better than I thought ...

I have low mileage annually and all quotes from comparison sites were way too much. A friend suggested I try By Miles ... I strongly feel they should be the benchmark for all car insurance providers i.e. free GPS tracker. Other providers shouldn't lag behind. Highly recommended, no second thoughts. I've just started using this insurance in May 2019. They are good value, very responsive and quick to respond to questions. I do not know how they deal with claims as I've never had any, but their team gave me a very positive impression so far! Reviewed on: 1st August 2019

Insured my car in advance of my rental date and then acquired a private plate the change over was quick and easy and at no charge. You get the app to tell you what your going to pay upfront each month don’t use your car you don’t pay great idea Reviewed on: 1st August 2019

I am so happy to be insured with by miles. My car insurance has not only dropped in price but the customer service is excellent. The best i have ever recieved from a Car insurance company.I have told all my friends and family how good the company are and hope they with also join when theres expires.5 Star service!! & Affordable.What more could you want???
