By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

By Miles is good but the customer back up is very poor if at all

I just think it makes sense that low mileage drivers should not be lumped in the same category as everyone else. By Miles deserves an award even for conceiving the idea.

I joined on the day By Miles launched as pay-as-you-go car insurance sounded so innovative and sensible. Bar one exception, each interaction I've had over the years with their UK-based staff has been more than exceptional with staff showing genuine warmth, empathy, diligence and professionalism each time. Even that one occasion when the staff member really disappointed me with their cold-fish attitude and limited knowledge (I think they were a temp!) has not overshadowed the excellent customer service and superb pricing I have received over the years. I will always recommend them to friends and family so my message to them is keep recruiting people with the right values and outlook, you'll continue to grow and step-by-step, change the industry for the betterment of consumers. I’ve had bymiles insurance for just over a year now and have so far had a fantastic experience with them. It’s the only car insurance I’ve ever had that has actually reduced both my initial rate and my rate per mile, as well as offering me the same rate for renewing as I got if I was a new customer. The car tracking and fault finding on the app is also really handy. Overall a great experience with them and would definitely recommend to anyone who asks, as I regularly do.
