Refreshingly different!

I insured my car with byMiles for the first time earlier this year following the usual go around with various comparison sites. I am a lower (5k pa) miles driver of a high performance car and particularly liked the idea of a low 'base insurance' with 'pay as you go' insurance for miles driven. For lower miles this is really very cost effective and the overall quote was very competitive compared to the more traditional policies. The mileage recording device and app work perfectly and are very simple to install. About 3 months into my policy this already looks like I will achieve a near 40% reduction in insurance cost for the year compared to previous policies. Initial contact with byMiles was efficient and friendly and I would highly recommend them for innovation and a fresh approach to car insurance in particular. Reviewed on: 18th August 2022

I do not really drive a lot so this type of insurance is perfect for me.To join was very simple.All done online without any hustle and bustle. The mileage box arrived within a day.A small device that I easily fitted in without too much trouble.Two days later,when my insurance started, the box started to count the miles straight away.And o boy,how accurate the count is.I love the app (that I easily downloaded) and that I can see how much I have driven and how many miles are left.Thanks to the app after trying several roads to get me to work and back home I know which way is the shortest one. Everything seems to be working perfectly.I know how many miles are left and also am very happy knowing I can pay for more if needed.I highly recommend this insurance and if they don't introduce some unnecessary changes I will stay with them for years to come.Great product!!! I’m in my first few months with ByMiles but very pleased to say I am finding everything extremely satisfactory. The fitting of the mileage plug was really as easy as they said it would be. I like it that, every journey I make, I’m given notice of how many miles I have done and the cost so it’s really easy to keep a check on just how my plan is going. For someone who does not drive a lot now since being retired, this company is spot on for people such as I. It gives me confidence every time I drive knowing that both myself and my car are both being carefully monitored wherever I go and it's costing my half the amount in insurance with equal cover than it's ever done with previous insurance companies.
