By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I joined By Miles 2 months ago after spending days trailing around all the companies and being quoted ridiculous sums to leave my car in the garage. Firstly they were half the price and that price was fair ...I did not feel like I was being ripped off like the others. I had a issue in the beginning and actually got to speak to a person who rang me back and it was all sorted immediately ..that these days is a small miracle . It was easy to set up and install the tracker. A really great visual, easy to read ,app which updates on every journey and states how many miles you have driven . For someone who does not drive on a regular basis its a godsend. I have told a lot of people and they are all very interested because this has filled a very common gap in the market . Its just all such a different experience when compared to all other insurance companies I have dealt with in the 45 years I have been driving . I feel like they are on my side and not just grabbing my money. They deserve every success for changing the world of car insurance to a positive experience Reviewed on: 18th August 2022
