Why Pay More For Car Insurance

For the last few years I have done little mileage in my car, possible average 500 miles per year. This because of my wife having cancer, looking after her until she died. Then restrictions with Covid so I just got into not going anywhere unless absolutely necessary. I am lucky to live within 50 yards of the Pennine Trail so I spend a lot of time on there walking my dog Alfie and with other dogs and friends. I have a Supermarket delivery every 4 weeks or so and in between that I pop down to the local co-op each week for a top up and thats generally the only time the car comes out other than occasional trips for vet , dentist etc. Twice a year visit by my daughter and we usually go into the Peak District. So my average of 500 miles, not much is it, may be a little more as my sister now in a home so visits necessary. With this small mileage I was paying some £380 approx. A year which this years renewal price went up a further almost £100. Enough is enough I thought and contemplated getting shut of the car. Before I did take that step though I googled and found My Miles, wow!!! The amount per year reduced by just over half. I set a mileage of 1,000 for the year and if I don’t reach that I will be due for a rebate. May only be a very small amount but hey! Have I ever got anything back before, never. So how can you better a car insurance than this. I am really over moon with it and would recommend it to anyone on low mileage. Value, simple, worth the time.

With the way insurance is, it’s quite the challenge with all the other rising costs around you. I drive to pick up my wife from work maybe once or twice a week, also do the shopping or appointments. I hardly drive as I like ten minutes from work. So why should I pay insane amounts of insurance for less than 3000 miles a year? This is where I found By Miles an incredible offer. Put the tracker in and pay for what you use. My insurance has never been cheaper. Not only are the prices cheaper but the customer service is excellent too. Any first time concerns were washed away when I contacted them. Your also not speaking to someone on the other side of the globe, that means they understand my situation better from the prospective of where I live. I’ve not even started with the features of the tracker. It’s not there like a black box that keeps tabs on speed etc to rocket your insurance, it genuinely has useful tools. There’s even a diagnostic tool fitted into it. I wouldn’t change again, this is the most convenient and best value for money company I’ve ever used in over 20 years. The first having gone bust, and I’ve not found another until By Miles came along. Don’t worry, get a quote and read for yourself from reviews or even dip your toes in and get a policy.
