By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

A way to escape unfair pricing

You pay a small fee for coverage whilst parked at home and then pay per mile driven which gives more choice to the driver. The way it should be. Reviewed on: 16th August 2022

cheaper by the miles

well priced, well suited to my needs, I have a car in showroom condition, I take it out once a week to charge the battery and one holiday per year plus service and mot, in all less than a thousand miles a year so by miles offer me the cheapest car insurance available on the market, I know because I fully researched it on the internet not bad for a £78.000 Mercedes, I would fully endorse and recommend BY MILES. When I returned to England after living in France for many years no one would insurance me so when I saw by miles I thought I would try them they were so helpful and helped me with their Insurance so being on my own I was very grateful for all their help.And if I have a problem I know that they are a phone call away. So this is simple, you do not drive your car, you do not pay anything! I am loving the fact that on months that I have not used my car much, I did not pay much. The app makes me track usage and miles, so its fair. I would highly recommend especially the elderly and/or anyone who does not use their car much to be wiser and go for ByMiles! Perhaps the best car insurance provider I have used so far!!! Reviewed on: 16th August 2022

I've found the experience of being a ByMiles customer very smooth and easy so far. I haven't had to claim yet but I love the fact that I pay for how much I drive. I find tge principle rather fair! I also like that every time I unplug my tracker, I receive a note. This is reassuring! I had to contact the customer service a couple times for the tracker and every time I got a response straightaway and it was made easy for me. Reviewed on: 16th August 2022
