By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Best Car Insurance

I have been a driver for 17 years, 3 or 4 years ago my car insurance was getting so expensive. I asked friends for recommendations and was told by one friend to try By Miles-having never heard of them i was sceptical (thinking it can’t be as simple as she explained) but I had a look and i’ve never looked back or looked elsewhere….As a driver who only does about 3000 miles a year it’s perfect!! Low Cost - Pay As You Go!

As a pensioner and low mileage driver I find By Miles an excellent choice for my car insurance. A modest upfront annual cost, then pay monthly by actual miles driven. Best car insurer I have ever had

I only use my car for social and some on location jobs where it’s easier than public transport. I’ve paid through the roof for insurance in the past considering how much mileage is actually used. This is by far the most transparent, fair and clear insurance company I have used. I get a tracker which gives me insight on the cost for that journey. I can view how much I’ve used overall and if I’m on track to get a refund. I can top up anytime I like without penalties for adding extra amount on if I had an increase in use. On top of that, the customer service has been fantastic. My initial enquiry I spoke to someone on the chat function who answered all my questions patiently and it was the same person everytime I went back to ask! Finally, a fair priced, transparent and clear car insurer. I’ll be using them forever if they stays this wash and recommending them to everyone. Really happy with them Reviewed on: 16th August 2022
