By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Best decision ever made for car ins.

Setting up the insurance was dead easy. I had no claims bonus available as had Motability car for almost 6 years. Their quote was very attractive for my car ( ‘07 Honda CR-V). With them have everything covered incl. NCB, helplines all sorts of potential problems and enquiries. When it came around that my policy was due for renewal, I had not made any claims, and it felt like a reward that they reduced the cost per mile significantly for my second year. The most I paid last year for 1 month was £39 & pence. You won’t be charged for the days when your car is not in use - makes sense! On Line at their website you can see every bit of information about where and when you have travelled and the actual all in cost for that trip. You can view your past months’ journeys too, and more. I really and truly haven’t had a thing to say against their company and my insurance. Reviewed on: 12th August 2022

a great experience the last 2 years!

I really appreciate being able to use this type of insurance for my second car, makes the premium fairly cheap and allows me to keep the second car on the road given that it's not used very often. Very pleased with By Miles. Car insurance was a lot cheaper for me and as I barely use my car, paying for per mile made so much more sense!
