By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

This type of insurance works really well if you are a low mileage driver. Paying for only the mileage I do has made my insurance cheaper than its even been Black box is simple to fit yourself and can also be used to do a diagnostic test on your car at any time. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

Better than half price

I was married almost for 32 years then 2 years ago my husband died. Left with debt and on my own i was terrified i would not be able to afford tax and insurance on my car. the cheapest was over £400.00 and then i came across BY MILES. I was OVER THE MOON. All in all i'm PAYING LESS THAN HALF PRICE PER YEAR. I just can't believe it. Prices on everything have gone through the roof. I've already recommended it to a friend and she said she would check it over and change over. With only paying about £5.00 per month it's so much easier in the pocket.
