By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

The best insurance for short journeys

This is a great insurance company for people who don't drive far often. For me this is amazing as my work is only a few miles away meaning over a month long period ill be saving up to £30 every month compared to other insurance companies. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

I'll be honest, I wasn't the most knowledgable about the car insurance process as it was something my parents had always supported me with in the past. This time around I wanted to be proactive about sorting it out on my own and ByMiles was extremely helpful in fulfilling that. They have a simple and user friendly system that isn't time consuming. I was so impressed by it, that I recommended them to various friends and family members.
