By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Easy to use. No fuss

By Miles makes tracking my monthly bills very easy using the app. The app also breaks down technical jargon into language I can easily understand. The way by bills are calculated is very fair as well, as I don't drive daily. Why pay the same monthly rate if you don't drive during a summer break or in winter when the roads are bad and days are short? I'd recommend By Miles to anyone looking for hassle free insurance. Very economic insurance for customers like us who have done low mileage during lockdown. A real life saver but also helpful, understanding and easy to deal with. I dont usually look forward to sorting out annual insurances but these guys really do take it to the next level bringing a human touch by responding quickly and thoughtfully to any queries. Great service and only pay for what you use - I came back to driving after being treated for epilepsy and By Miles had no issues.
