Great price but terrible customer service

I rarely use my car. This policy is perfect for that. However, every time the car isn't used they send threatening emails and texts that I'm not insured if I drive it. The battery in my car isn't flat as they keep saying as I've had someone check on it. They don't stop sending these emails and texts even when asked not to and it happens every time. Most recently I was told they can make a note on my account that I'm away for about a month but that's the maximum. Even then, within a week I've had another text and email saying they're not receiving signal from the tracker. Massive room for improvement given I'm exactly the kind of user this policy is designed for. Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

Awesome Money Saving Insurance

I came across By Miles around 2 years ago and having just turned 25 it was the cheapest quote by far , when I saw how they charge you monthly I was astonished at a Car Insurance company who allows people to pay fairly by mileage rather than charging hundreds more just for profits. Really great customer service and helpful whenever you call. Breakdown cover with the Insurance is with a reputable company and very decent price for the whole year. Great value and pricing system

This is now my third year renewing with By Miles, because the customer service is great, the communications are easy to use and fit into my lifestyle, and the competitive pricing fits well for my driving needs. It's good to be reassured that I won't go over a certain amount if I drive a lot in one day, and for times that I don't drive, I love that those days are already paid for!
