By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I have only been with bymiles for a short time but in that time I've had an amazing experience. Signing up was quick and easy and communications from them have been quick and informative, the device to check my miles driven arrived quickly and was straight forward to fit in my car, the app is useful and provides me with regular updates as to what journeys have cost me aswell as my monthly balance come payday. I recommend them regularly to friends/family seeking car insurance. Bymiles have been especially beneficial to me and i imagine others during the covid pandemic/lockdowns, i myself have been working from home for one thing and have been driving less so bymiles have been a godsend compared to any other insurers i have come across and i will continue to use them for the foreseeable future Reviewed on: 8th August 2021

Only been with by miles since March, no problems so far, but I like the app and the interface and the useful tools that come with the app, the daily reports, maps and mileage information. Billing is straightforward and statements are useful Reviewed on: 8th August 2021
