By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Best product for me and great service so far

I was skeptical at first due to being an app-based business but have had good customer service and it's been great to pay-by-mile now that I don't commute to work by car. Cost has reduced each year on renewal automatically without me needing to barter with someone over the phone each time. Built in no-claims cover is also nice (not thatI've had to use it). Ideal Insurance for low mileage

Very straightforward app based Insurance, track your monthly mileage easily. Haven't had a claim but sure they would be as efficient with dealing with it as other companies. Highly recommend. Reviewed on: 6th August 2021

Really good idea

As someone who's recently moved closer to my workplace and doesn't need to commute anywhere near as often as I did, I was looking for a new insurer that was better value for money for my needs. By Miles is perfect and does 'what it says on the tin' . I pay a small fee in comparison to any other insurer I've experienced - set rate for when the car isn't in use and then what is, in my opinion, an excellent rate per mile travelled. I can see how much I'm spending and breakdown how much each journey costs via the app. Brilliant. Reviewed on: 6th August 2021

Best price and easiest car insurance to contact

I've never really gone out of the way to recommned a car insurance company before until now. Easy to contact via the messaging service and always helpful. In nearly 30 years of driving, year on year my insurance has gone up despite not claiming. I can't remember the last time I stayed with an insurance company, if ever. My insurance is down and coming out about 40% cheaper than my best quote from anyone else. Want to save money ? these should be your next car insurance company. Reviewed on: 6th August 2021
