By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I love By Miles !

Bymiles is such a refreshing approach to car insurance. As someone that only drives on the weekends, I think this is a much fairer way to provide an insurance solution for people such as myself. Whenever I’ve had to speak to someone in the service team they’ve been nothing but friendly, professional and prompt. The app is also very easy to use which makes life easier. So far I’ve recommended 5 family and friends to Bymiles who have all gone on to get an insurance policy with them and share the same views I do. Thank you for all you do ! Really impressed. Not only have I saved several hundred pounds using by miles but it was easy to switch. It’s great to have a real time tracker to log all my journey and work out quickest and cheapest routes. I can watch myself saving money! I have been recommending it to everyone.
