Exemplary helpfulness & clarity

After decades without having cause to make a claim we have had to make two claims in the last 4 years. The helpfulness on both occasions was exemplary. Never tempt fate!!

We have been with the caravan club for 26 years and always used red Pennant and caravan cover when travelling to France. There was one time we booked last minute and forgot to insure!! That also happened to be the only time we broke down -sod's law!! We still rang the club and they were fantastic and organised breakdown and a site nearby. Yes we had to pay but would have been in a terrible pickle if left to our own devices. Moral of the story - never travel without cover or insurance!! Reviewed on: 2nd September 2026
