It is a clever and efficient way of putting money aside without feeling it. Not only Chip makes it feel seamlessly but it also gives you total control of your money. I discovered Chip when I was in a difficult place financially. Chip's automatic saves showed me that saving was possible when I was living month by month and the goal system allowed me to make a plan for paying off my debt and stop worrying about money. This is a great app which transfers small amounts of money from your current account into a CHIP savings account on regular ad-hoc basis. It’s like nipping to the corner shop to buy a few things. You don’t really notice the money has gone but it’s noticeable how quickly your savings build up. The app is very easy to use and I like that you can have separate pots to save towards goals like holidays, Christmas, kids clothes, loft conversion, whatever you want... Highly recommend! I initially used it to just chuck a bit of money in so I didn't spend it, however the goals function allows for a steady progressive saving towards your target amounts. Also, it's very easy to deposit and withdraw your money, with low hassle and no fees either. Reviewed on: 10th March 2021
