I've saved enough to pay for a new bathroom!

I got Chip as I wanted to see the money I was saving actually come out of my bank account. Within a few months, I had £500 and then I decided to put the money towards getting a new bathroom. Without even trying, or realising I was doing it, I had saved enough money in 18 months to get a new en suite and it felt like I hadn't had to scrimp and save my way to do it! I love chip and recommended it to so many of my friends and family who have also loved the simple way to save a little bit of money that steadily grows without having to put in much effort! Painless way of saving

The best thing you can do with the Chip app is to forget you have it. Check it once a year and you'll be surprised how quickly it all adds up. Worth noting though that they don't currently pay interest so I use it as a way of shielding savings from spending but then make sure you regularly transfer to an ISA or savings account that does. Helped me get back on my feet
