Chip is an innovative and well run savings app that I was recommended to try by a friend a few years ago and can honestly say I’ve used it religiously since. I would never have saved any money (or if I did I’d spend it) let alone what I have so far and it has been such a great help on times and also a relief knowing I have spare income to fall back on if I really need it, however it’s also taught me to actually think about my spending as I really hate dipping into my savings now and want to keep my streak! I’d recommend Chip to anyone who is struggling to independently save but would like to start! I started off with the minimal save option and slowly built up to the maximum once I started to learn to cap on my spending! No amount is too small. Chip is suitable for everyone as its clever algorithm works out what you can save per week. It also gives you options to stop saving if your account falls below a limit you set or equally if you want to continue saving in your overdraft. Get the app, you won’t regret it!
