Unlike other insurers, the operator not only wanted to know what 'ailments' I might have, but also how I was being treated. She appeared to know that the treatment being received was correct & effective.

Easy to use

I now always use covered to go as I have an underactive thyroid which I need to declare and coveredtogo always give the best prices for travel insurance. The site is easy to use and I can get all the quotes in one well ordered place. Excellent service. Reviewed on: 23rd July 2017

Brings out the cynic in me

Hopefully won't have to find out how good the claims service is but was definitely the easiest sight to use in terms of choosing the right cover. I was finding it difficult to get extended family cover and this was my primary reason for choosing this holiday insurance. Highly suspicious of a company that offers money for votes on an 'impartial' consumer guide. But that's just me. Hope they live up to the hype if I need to claim. Reviewed on: 19th July 2017

Yes, you can still enjoy holidays in your eighties!

As a couple of "oldies", one over eighty, with several pre-existing medical conditions, we would be confident in recommending Covered2go to any other "oldies." Their Gold policy has served us well 3 times for single-trip holidays abroad and on the one occasion that we had to cancel a holiday because of unforeseen illness, the cancellation went through without a hitch. Their staff on the telephone are unfailingly friendly and helpful and the medical screening, although lengthy, is painless. Reviewed on: 18th July 2017

Excellent cover for the price, especially for insurance for a couple over the age of 75 years. Did not have to make a claim so cannot comment on this aspect. Would certainly use the company again. Reviewed on: 18th July 2017

Good value holiday insurance

Being a couple in our 70s with some health issues, we would recommend Covered2go. The medical referee is very easy to deal with and we were happy with the small extra payment required.
