I have peace of mind when I leave my bike locked up. They had some useful advice about what grade of lock I needed. Multiple choices to tailor my insurance to best fit. Reviewed on: 26th August 2017

I always thought the house insurance covered my cycling liability so it was a bit of a shock when I found electric bikes were excluded from theft and also liability. Every time I cycled near a pedigree dog or family with children I felt aware of my financial exposure. I got a few quotes for insurance and the amounts were more than my car. a friend suggested Cycle plan and the quote was very good for liability. The theft quote was the best I had been offered but still very expensive, it highlighted the temptation these bikes make for thieves so I now keep the wheels and battery in the house and the bike frame and motor in the garage locked up. With cycleplan the last 2 year fortunately have not used them only to upgrade when cycling abroad they very helpful sorted everything out and very reasonably priced. Reviewed on: 25th August 2017
