Supportive and friendly online help

I would highly recommend Darlington Building Society. In the past I have conducted all my dealing with them face-to-face. The branch in Northallerton is a lovely friendly place. However, we have to move with the time and so when the accounts went online I thought I'd give it a go. I am not very tech savvy, so needed to contact customer services for some help. Simon was very helpful, understood that I needed time and patience and guided me through the setting up process. His instructions were clear and he was able to help when I got stuck. Putting things right

I have several accounts with the DBS, when the new on line access became available I decided to make use of it. For some reason I could not gain access so I called the Helpdesk. I was putting all of my details in correctly the problem continued. The penny then dropped, how do you spell Michael, that was the problem! The lady then rectified the spelling, not only that, she would make the branch aware of the misspelling and have my accounts corrected. Problem solved in a friendly and professional manner by the lady with the lovely Scottish accent. Reviewed on: 8th September 2023
