Ethical, and so Supportive !

I love saving with a building society that does specific, practical things for the environment, and for housing (both so badly needed). Ethical - no investments in bombs or fossil fuels! The people who work for it are lovely! When I ring up to ask questions, I always get patient, friendly help and clear answers. Sure, the interest rate offered is modest - but this is outweighed by the peace of mind Ecology Building Society offers its customers. Reviewed on: 10th November 2024

Seeing where your money goes

EBS provide really good customer service but the thing I like most is the information they provide about the environmental and social benefits that result from using the money I save with them to provide mortgages for fantastic projects. Reviewed on: 21st March 2021

Highly recommended

I have never had an issue with the Society, and I have been with them for years. I also have peace of mind knowing my savings is not being used to hurt others or the planet. Friendly and reliable

I have been saving with Ecology for many years, partly because of their ethics and mission, and partly because their customer service is excellent and their products and interest rates are good. Always stuck to their founding principles.

We have been with them for many years. Attended some interesting AGM's usually at aBorrowers property enabling lenders to see what there savings are used for in a ethical and sustainable way. Reviewed on: 19th March 2021
