From every which way - the Ecology BS is what we want and need

I attended an AGM with Ecology. From the way they chose where to meet, the encouragement to use public transport or car share, the very building materials of their offices and their completely transparent sharing of data from all of the questions asked - like who is the least paid member, the highest - every aspect of business is completely thought through. That the Ecology Building Society subscribe to the triple lock of 'people planet profit' is absolutely superb. I cant rate them highly enough and they should be celebrated. Lets see how depositing or lending money can help shape our communities and landscape postively. Reviewed on: 11th March 2021

Superb customer service, unbeatable Green credentials

I've held my regular savings with EBS for many years. Their printed and online information is clear and easy to find, and the service has always been super efficient and fast. As if that wasn't enough, regular newsletters share inspirational stories of people using their EBS loans in great environmentally sustainable projects - wonderful! Reviewed on: 11th March 2021

Great green products and services

I've had savings with Ecology Building Society for around 20 years. I've always had excellent and professional service. Saving with Ecology really feels like you're making a difference and that you can do good with your money. There's transparency about where your savings are invested, which is a rarity. Although a small provider, Ecology has offered an online service for years and has further digital plans. This helps it to stand out from other smaller building societies/financial providers, which sometimes struggle to keep up with the times and the expectations of customers in the modern world. Interest rates, at least at the moment, are competitive with others in the market place so it's not a case of trading off financial return for wider, 'ethical' return.
