Superb customer service, unbeatable Green credentials

I've held my regular savings with EBS for many years. Their printed and online information is clear and easy to find, and the service has always been super efficient and fast. As if that wasn't enough, regular newsletters share inspirational stories of people using their EBS loans in great environmentally sustainable projects - wonderful! Reviewed on: 11th March 2021

Great green products and services

I've had savings with Ecology Building Society for around 20 years. I've always had excellent and professional service. Saving with Ecology really feels like you're making a difference and that you can do good with your money. There's transparency about where your savings are invested, which is a rarity. Although a small provider, Ecology has offered an online service for years and has further digital plans. This helps it to stand out from other smaller building societies/financial providers, which sometimes struggle to keep up with the times and the expectations of customers in the modern world. Interest rates, at least at the moment, are competitive with others in the market place so it's not a case of trading off financial return for wider, 'ethical' return.
