Ethical, and so Supportive !

I love saving with a building society that does specific, practical things for the environment, and for housing (both so badly needed). Ethical - no investments in bombs or fossil fuels! The people who work for it are lovely! When I ring up to ask questions, I always get patient, friendly help and clear answers. Sure, the interest rate offered is modest - but this is outweighed by the peace of mind Ecology Building Society offers its customers. Reviewed on: 10th November 2024

EBS not only encourage minimising the ongoing environmental impact of using buildings such as by high standards of insulation they also address the environmental impact of the materials used in the construction of buildings. Ethically on the spot

I have been with the Ecology for a long time - for ISA investment. But what they do on lending etc is very impressive. And their overall care of customers is second to none. Well worth an award! Reviewed on: 15th March 2022

Ethical and helpful

They helped me out when I lost my job in the pandemic. And they have genuinely rigourous ethics - unlike many banks and building societies who are funding things I'd rather not put my money into. Reviewed on: 15th March 2022

Saving for something better

It’s great to know your savings are doing all the right things, free from fossil fuel investments and weapon manufacturing amongst others. Customer service are always great too and their interest rates are competitive. Ecology makes saving with beneficial impacts easy. Reviewed on: 14th March 2022
