Personable bank with amazing customer service

All of the customer service staff on the phones are exceptional and always help you without being overly corporate. The last time I spoke to them they helped me move away from an overdraft and into credit, and working with a bank account that works for both me and the bank! Reviewed on: 22nd November 2015

Brilliant bank

It's great getting through to a real person straightaway on the phone. First Direct have been great from second I switched to them, their customer service reps are very friendly and helpful. I haven't encountered a single problem with them yet. Reviewed on: 20th November 2015

I needed to ring them to get their phone app to work they were so helpful. I was in work so didn't have my bank account card to hand, they rang me back on my mobile which was registered to the account and sorted it all out. The call was answered quickly with minimal fuss, my old bank I'd be on the phone for ages pressing various numbers to get to the right department. The account is operated online or by phone only, but I never go to a branch so it suits me. The account also boasts an interest free overdraft up to £500 which really helps on the odd occasion. You will never swop banks again!

I have banked with First Direct for approx 10 years now, and I can honestly say I don't think I'll switch to any other bank again. The test of a good bank if whether they put something right when it goes wrong. I accidentally forgot to transfer my salary across from one account to another and therefore went overdrawn. I had a decent sum of money in my savings, so although overdrawn in one acct overall I was not. I called them as they had charged me on the account I had gone overdrawn on thinking I'd get nowhere as it was my mistake. Wrong - they sorted it straight away - refunded me and put in place automatic direct debits to stop it happening again. Love First Direct - this is just one of the small things they have helped me with over the years! Try them! Reviewed on: 20th November 2015

Outstanding Customer Service

Was worried about a bank with no walk-in branches, but worried for no reason. Customer service via phone is superb. Always had a very friendly person on the other end and had the feeling that they really made an effort to solve my issues or enable services etc. Reviewed on: 20th November 2015
