You never know if it's a good or bad bank until something goes wrong

My bank messed up - they had inputted some details wrong about a direct debit that should have been entering my saving account, meaning I had not been saving as much as I thought. On discovering this they were fantastic at putting it right with minimal fuss and ensuring I did not lose out in any way. Super Bank - friendly staff on the phone. Reviewed on: 8th November 2018

Simple and easy

Better than the rest

A human with a pulse always available 24/7 if any problem arises I,e. 63 year old often forgets passwords, log ins, highly trained staff with "we can help " attitudes and in my experience always do makes online banking a pleasure if any problems arise. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Great scheme

After using a normal savings account for a while and making the switch to the bonus saver its great to see myself rewarded for saving with the interest and friendly reminders if i try to withdraw money Reviewed on: 15th January 2017

Love the company but feel let down by the decrease in the rate

I love First Direct and was pleased with their bonus saver rate in these difficult for savers times. However when base rate dropped by 0.25% FD responded by dropping their rate by more than the percentage cut.
