I had bad credit and explained my situation. The friendly man on the phone fully understood what I was going through and was willing to accept me up to £10000. I was so happy with my new born babey on the way this June it has helped me so much and I am so thankfully for there service. Also very polite and great customer service thumbs up from me. First response finance, I rate 5*

I’ve been with first response finance for nearly 5 years now. Around 2 years ago I entered an IVA but beforehand I also had very poor credit history. First response finance understood my reasoning for needing a car, and accommodated for this. After I entered my IVA, nearing the end of my current car finance contract, first response then accommodated for my new circumstances and helped me gain a larger finance amount to upgrade my car for my new circumstances. Customer service was excellent, very informative with fast responses. Hope to stay with first response for any future car finance, as the process has been smooth and easy going. Thank you! Outstanding

The whole process from start to finish was amazing, 19 other companies declined me before First Response accepted me because they saw more than the credit score they saw I could actually afford to pay what I’ve borrowed unlike the other places, the communication was fantastic, everything was made clear so I understood what I was signing up for, the choose of dealers they work with is so big so it was only a matter of time before I found a dealer and within a week from first contact I’d found and bought a car Reviewed on: 29th April 2026
