Good Investment Co

Innovative Platform

User friendly platform with fractional, fee free trading. Provides high quality performance analytics, including benchmarking & time weighted vs. money weighted rate of returns - something no other UK brokerage seems capable of providing. Only downsides from my perspective - excessive FX comissions, no CGT or transaction reporting, missing certain obvious shares. But it's still 10x better than the other garbage online brokers we have access to in the UK. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2022

Commission-free simple investing

Great New Company - Making Investing Easy & Affordable

Really pleased with what FreeTrade has to offer so far. - It offers free investing in local markets, with only a small FX fee of 0.45% for US Stocks, and with no commissions anywhere. The App is changing the way people invest for the better, although features like Statements for annual dividends received (both directly and via accumulating funds) needs to be added for people to be easier able to complete their tax returns, if they wish to compete with other low cost providers like De Giro. Overall very pleased and I can see they are making improvements all the time. I can't stress how important it is that they get on top of this dividend statement issue, as many people earn more than £2,000 per annum in dividends and need to do a tax return, so Freetrade need to let people know what dividends they have received for tax, however everything else is Excellent. The ISA and SIPPs are also very cheap, and their is a wider range of stocks available via premium services, which are still very affordable. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2022
