Glasgow Credit Union loans can be used for any purpose including home improvements and debt consolidation.

With a Glasgow Credit Union loan, you can borrow up to £25,000. Once you’re a member, you can apply for a loan in app, online or by phone. You’ll need to save at least £10 per month into your Member Savings during the term.

Glasgow Credit Union is so different in its approach to providing loans. It's the fact that applications are assessed by a person rather than a computer process, and I love the fact that it's so easy to speak to someone, and that they invest back into the city. Reviewed on: 10th August 2021

Saving while you borrow

I find the fact that when I take out a loan with GCU I am saving into my shares when repaying it, to be really helpful. The app allows me to transfer funds easily and I have never been so happy with, or in control of my finances. Reviewed on: 10th August 2021

Before I joined the credit union I had been using high interest loan companies and paying a fortune in interest. I am now saving and also have loans that are affordable to me and a lot less interest. Also such friendly staff and easy to apply or answer any questions. Reviewed on: 10th August 2021
