With a Glasgow Credit Union loan, you can borrow up to £25,000. Once you’re a member, you can apply for a loan in app, online or by phone. You’ll need to save at least £10 per month into your Member Savings during the term.

Their promise to make every decision based on the individual and circumstances portrayed makes them an excellent lender and decisions have personal touch that main banks lack completely. Shockingly easy

I applied for a debt consolidation loan with GCU and the process was so simple. The fact that an actual human looked at my application and made the decision meant the whole process was so much more transparent than any other loan application. Rather than an algorithm turning me down, a person actually spoke to me about my application, my circumstances, and made the decision on whether I got the loan. They were very helpful with answering questions and it was easy to make additional payments when I could. Plus, they settled my debts directly for me, which was handy. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone struggling with debt - I managed to reduce the interest I was paying to half of what it was before and reduce how long it would take me to pay it all down! Ethical lending at competitive rates.

GCU offer best in class financial products within an ethical lending framework. Owned and governed by members, its non-profit status means that as a customer you help others as well as yourself. Always talk you through the process. Always appear to know the product and can advise if it suits your needs. Have been a member for about twenty years.
