With a Glasgow Credit Union savings account, members can save regularly between £10 and £1000 each month across accounts. Withdrawals are via BACS transfer and can be requested in app, online or by phone.

Fabulous organisation

My husband has been a member for years as is his siblings. When i was able to join i jumped at the chance. We both save money with the crefit union monthly and it has been a lifesaver at times and enabled us to purchase large items. I work with vulnerable families in Glasgow and have always encouraged families to open up accounts as part of any budgeting/lifeskills advice i give. Reviewed on: 9th July 2020

Safe as Houses

My previous credit union closed, however, my savings were protected and returned to me very quickly. I opted for Glasgow Credit Union as the number of members convinced me this was a robust credit union, so there would be no unexpected events as there was with my last CU. I prefer to manage my finances online which was another option that helped me decide where to put my savings. Reviewed on: 9th July 2020

Brilliant and ethical.

Customer service is top notice at the GCU. I’ve never had an issue when inquiring or making transfers. The ethical basis behind the credit union and the role it plays in the Glasgow community is unrivalled. Brilliant organisation. Reviewed on: 9th July 2020

Simple and personal

Glasgow credit union are so easy. I was nervous at first but they have brilliant representatives that are really helpful, personal and informative! Its easy to do what you want with savings and you can adjust your amount whenever you want and withdraw your money too, so your money is still your money! They’ve been brilliant with flexibilty and ease of access especially for people like me who have a busy life! Ive recommended them to my family as they also do loans and mortgages too!
