With a Glasgow Credit Union savings account, members can save regularly between £10 and £1000 each month across accounts. Withdrawals are via BACS transfer and can be requested in app, online or by phone.

Realistic, managable savings option

I have had an account with GCU for three years now and the service is incredible, it is easy to manage online or via the phone with one of their friendly, helpful advisors. The flexibility of the account takes away the pressure and has encouraged and helped my savings to grow. Saving with Glasgow Credit Union has been something I’ve done since I started working. They provide a fair and competitive interest rate but more importantly, releasing saving can be done quickly and at the click of a button. I have also had loans and a mortgage with GCU and I would recommend all these services also. Reviewed on: 9th July 2020

Love being able to save via a direct debit and feel my savings are safe and secure. However, can request to withdraw funds either online or by calling. Funds will be transferred almost immediately. Reviewed on: 9th July 2020

Great way to save

I started with the Glasgow Credit Union in 2004 just after I joined the local authority. It has been a great way to save as it is deducted from my salary each month and the annual dividend is better than the banks. Reviewed on: 9th July 2020
