With a Glasgow Credit Union savings account, members can save regularly between £10 and £1000 each month across accounts. Withdrawals are via BACS transfer and can be requested in app, online or by phone.

Local and accessable

Love being able to save via a direct debit and feel my savings are safe and secure. However, can request to withdraw funds either online or by calling. Funds will be transferred almost immediately. Reviewed on: 9th July 2020

Great way to save

I started with the Glasgow Credit Union in 2004 just after I joined the local authority. It has been a great way to save as it is deducted from my salary each month and the annual dividend is better than the banks. Reviewed on: 9th July 2020

Being part of a credit union

Glasgow credit union is an organisation that supports their members by offering great value borrowing rates and conditions. They also encourage their membership to take more control of their personal finances, hopefully providing them with better financial security in these troubled times. Without the savings I was encouraged to accrue with them, I would not have been able to put my dog through a lifesaving operation, and for that I am eternally grateful. Reviewed on: 9th July 2020
