About this product

GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Simple and easy way to teach kids money management

I wanted to teach my son a safe way to save money and use a prepaid card. He can see his money growing each week and decide what he wants to save or spend. I set tasks he needs to complete (homework, getting ready for school etc) so he can ‘earn’ extra money. He’s worked towards 2 targets already and planning his next item to save for. He felt so grown up (aged 10) buying me a coffee and I felt safe in the knowledge I can track his spending via the parent app. Win win! Reviewed on: 12th February 2021

Simple, easy to use

GoHenry, while not a bank account, is a great way for children of all ages to save and earn extra pocket money, all the while having their own card and access to their own app so they feel responsible for it. As a parent, I have full control over all aspects of their spending and can get a detailed overview of what they are spending, however it still feels to them like their own account and really does make a difference to how they spend money. An example, previously when we went out, they would ask for all sorts of junk at the supermarket. Now I tell them, yes, but you’ll need to use your own pocket money and 9 times out of 10, they decide not to and to keep it in their account. They like to see it grow every week and it encourages them to save up for something decent, rather than fritter it away on rubbish. My experience with GoHenry has been noting but positive, and I would, and indeed have recommended it to other parents. Very impressed. Reviewed on: 12th February 2021

A Great Saving Tool

My daughter has been using GoHenry got over a year and it has helped her save her pocket money easily towards goals that have earned her some great treats she has then been able to go out and buy using her card. It has given her independence and made her feel really mature to be able to use her own card at the shops. And relatives have been easily able to add gifts of money to her account for Birthdays and Christmas enabling her to buy her own treats. We both love it! Reviewed on: 12th February 2021

Fab for kids

This card allows me to help my child learn the value of money and provides incentive to earn it too. It gives them independence whilst keeping an eye on their spending. All 3 of my children have a go Henry card. They love it. Plus it's so easy to control and edit online . Reviewed on: 12th February 2021
