BEWARE: they try everything to avoid honouring claims

BEWARE, it may be easy to buy this insurance but if you need to claim it’s not worth the paper it’s written on. My mum is now stuck in a hospital abroad as goodtogo insurance / Ancile insurance (the parent company) have refused to honour the policy she bought this summer, despite her having filled in the medical declaration honestly and to the best of her knowledge. From the moment I reported her having fallen ill, goodtogo they continuously repeated, “IF she’s covered”, making us all feel extremely worried at an already very upsetting time, and devastatingly after almost two weeks of prevarication they informed us that they’d found a reason to deny her coverage. We are now struggling ourselves to bring my mum home from abroad, without the support of an insurance company, despite my mum having bought insurance and assuming she was safe. I’m only seeing the 1-star reviews now and assume my mum wasn’t aware of them when she bought this insurance. Please avoid this despicable company at all costs – use a reputable, big-name insurer who will actually honour your claim and be there to support you in your time of greatest need. Easy to set up and great price

My husband is terminally ill and we have struggled to find Travel Insurance for him. Most people wouldn't insure him and the only people who would said it would be well over £1000 just for 1 week. I then heard about Goodtogoinsurance. It was so easy to get a quote and set up the insurance. The price was great too.
