Office closed!

Taken ill on a Friday night, phoned the help line on Saturday morning only to receive a recorded message informing me that the office was closed until Monday morning! consequently my Hotel Reception arranged a doctor to attend me, due to me being 88 years old they where worried about the severity of my condition! I was treated for three Days. On returning home I submitted a claim , witch was turned down as it was a private company that supplied a Doctor. Due to the fact that we had followed the instructions of the Policy it was not our fault that we had to go elsewhere for treatment, had we not it could been a death claim! Even if the claim was disallowed we felt that the Premium Paid should have been returned as you failed to give me a service we paid for through no fault of ours. Reviewed on: 8th October 2025
