Everything was good for one month, I then added a extra driver which they accepted and they took all my card details they emailed me my new policy. Then had a text on a Saturday (so could not contact them all weekend) saying they had cancelled my insurance because the call I made to them ended before they had processed the payment and they had tried to call me back but went to answer phone. I had to call Monday morning 9am spoke to someone 10:15am ..Goskippy say there is nothing they can do because the policy is cancelled and they will be charging me a cancellation fee and some other fees. Lots of Hidden Charges which they will not say

I strongly advise against using this insurance company. I purchased a policy and paid a deposit for monthly insurance. However, I had to cancel the policy within 27 days, and they charged me an extra £313.46. I had a terrible experience and spent a lot of time trying to reach them, but they refused to help. I recently joined GoSkippy, after getting a quote that seemed just fine. However, after I paid the quote, I was hit with a lot of hidden fees and charges. They also asked me for documents that they didn't ask for at the beginning (and confirmed we wouldn't need), which made the process very frustrating. I tried to contact customer service, but I couldn't get through to anyone. I'm very disappointed with this company and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. ON TOP OF THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL. Avoid at all cost.

Trying to contact this company is not a pleasant experience, often they will answer the call and hang up immediately, or someone will answer and rudely state that they’re busy and to call back later. I genuinely dread to think how tedious it would be if I actually had to make a claim on my insurance. There are plenty of insurance companies out there, don’t give your money to a company that can’t even be bothered to offer a competent level of customer service. Reviewed on: 29th August 2023

This company requested for some documents which I scanned to them. They never confirmed receipt rather threatened to cancel which they did with a charge. Now it’s hard to insure with other insurers given that my insurance has been cancelled. It’s sad. I strongly advise you avoid this trap of a company at all cost. Reviewed on: 27th August 2023

GoSkippy is the first car insurer I’ve stayed with for more than one year as their renewal quote beat all other quotes. Usually insurers hike prices for renewals. Their online systems are easy to use and it’s simple to make changes or report an incident or claim. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2023
