Every year on renewal I have to ask for paper proof...

Every year on renewal I have to ask for paper proof that I am insured to show the farmers on whose ground I shoot. I'm 84 years old and do not own an iPhone so it's important to me to have that piece of paper. Apart from that I think Ripe provide very good value for money. Reviewed on: 12th September 2025

Needed insurance for shooting.

Needed insurance for shooting. Ripe made it so easy and gave me a great deal. I was fully covered within a few minutes for a full year, excellent service Reviewed on: 12th September 2025

Wanted £20 to amend or £30 to cancel!

I wanted to add legal cover and was told as well as the extra for the cover I would be charged an extra £20 admin fee (this on a £22.19 gun cover fee already paid, cost to amend is almost the cost of the insurance !) I said I'd just cancel then and was told I'd be charged £30 cancellation fee if I did this. I will not be renewing with Ripe next year and neither will the two other people I recommended. Customer service told me it was all in the small print, not helpful at all. Go with Country Cover Club instead. Reviewed on: 11th September 2025

Quick easy insurance

I wanted insurance so that I may go hunting on land where I have permission to shoot, although I am an excellent shot accident's do happen so I wanted insurance to cover me in case of such an event, and also to cover my equipment in case of theft or damage, I shopped around and decided on ripe insurance.
