22.9%APR in personal loan

I have banked with Halifax for over 8 years and never been in the red. Have had personal loan with them and never missed a payment. I'm looking for another personal loan and even thought they advertise from 3.9%APR I'm being asked to pay 22.9% APR. I have a great credit ratings and own my own home. So can only be about looking after share holders and not customers. Reviewed on: 28th April 2021

Great personal loan, competitive rate, easy overpayments

My partner and I each took out a personal loan with Halifax. As existing customers they had already screened to see what we were eligible for, and offered us £25k repayable over a 7 year period. It took about 2 minutes to apply and get the loan in our Halifax bank accounts, and we were able to pay it off easily through standing order and also through individual overpayments - with no penalty charges. Easy and Fast for Existing Customers

Extremely fast - literally from ascertaining how much I wanted to borrow over how long to applying through the online banking system to receiving the money was extremely fast. I received a good rate and can pay more and look at my balance all in one place online. Reviewed on: 24th April 2019

Halifax do give you extra!

I’ve banked with Halifax for over 10 years and wouldn’t bank with anyone else! They’re online banking is so easy and straightforward. Always willing to help when assistance is needed on products. Best bank provider on the High Street. Reviewed on: 4th February 2019
