I got a new plate all transfered by DVLA, I tried to update on their portal but it would not let me and it just said policy active. I was stopped by the Police a few months ago and after a conversation with the insurance company they let me go and said it must just be a computer glitch. I have just been pulled over by a Police officer again and after he finally got through to them they said that as of now they will terminate my contract meaning I will not be insured as of tomorrow. I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of communication on their part as I have never at any stage been told to contact them. I put my trust in their portal to be designed in a way that is reliable to notify customers to contact them if there is something that is not acceptable by their company terms. It has done me a favour as I have now been insured by a company that has direct contact and an app that has direct chat with a company rep. I signed up with haven insurance through got you covered, I recently had a non fault claim with them..... while waiting for my car to be repaired I have had two mechanics check to see if repairable and they have said yes.....my car wasn't checked by insurance repair people and they've just said it's written off although confirmed that it's possible to fix......no options given to me but that copart will come to take my car, and from my car value which is £1.695 they are taking off money from that which I'm guessing it will be near to nothing I will receive. No car after a accident they confirmed was 100% not my fault and lost money after paying over £3.000 in insurance.
