Simple and Easy to manage.

Easy to set up H&R Online, when i needed to place notice onto my account it was so simple and quick to do. I sent a secure message and asked to place notice and that was all placed on the same day. No delay or paper work having to be filled out. I also received a message back to say it has been placed and the date my notice is due. Reviewed on: 14th April 2026

Great personal service to be found locally.

I have had various accounts with H&RBS for a number of years, and have always had great service at the local office. The latest was an ISA transfer in from another provider, and again the personal service received from the cashier was excellent. Reviewed on: 14th April 2026

From the very beginning all staff have been brilliant - the start process explained, the interest rates and follow up details all very well explained and everything we were told has been followed up and supported to this very the day. Easy to use app though maybe a bit too simplified for some. It does everything l need of it to view money and easy to send messages to bank when needed that are promptly answered. It saves having to make unnecessary journeys. When l have to go into the bank the staff have always been very polite, helpful and efficient. Reviewed on: 14th April 2026

Inconvenient process for opening accounts

The Rugby Branch doesn’t allow people to walk off the street to open an account. You either request a form via their website to be posted a form, complete and go to the branch or request an appointment which is only during certain hours in the afternoon during the week. It is as though they don’t want customers to open accounts. Very inconvenient for working people. Reviewed on: 14th April 2026
