Old fashioned banking still works!

Came across a Hinckley & Rugby BS savings product (120 day notice account) online offering a very good interest rate that suited my needs. However the account could only be opened in branch or by post. Before going to the branch, I telephoned to see what was needed. This was clearly explained. An appointment was given to me for the same day. Once I was there, smooth procedure and friendly team. I received an email confirmation next day to inform me that my account was now open and the passbook was in post. Reviewed on: 4th February 2023

First class customer care

Completed a postal application and received a telephone call next day to advise that application had been received and account would be opened same day . Offer to explain any queries prior to completion. An old fashioned approach in this day when people are happy to take your money and leave you hanging on the end of the telephone for long periods of time . Definitely first class service.
