Holidaysafe travel insurance, don't leave without it.

When my wife's sister was taken into hospital four days before my wife and I were to fly out on a three week holiday we cancelled the holiday immediately. An easy decision when the sister was terminally ill. Twelve days or so later the sister died and we knew the decision to cancel was right. Our Holidaysafe insurance covered us for the decision to cancel and the full holiday costs were reimbursed. Reviewed on: 11th October 2024

ALL historical medical issues should be mentioned

I didn't realise at first that all historical medical issues need to be mentioned because the way the questions are asked it implies that only issues in the last two years need to be mentioned. I was disappointed that these old issues that have been dealt with and have no effect on my health now have resulted in a higher premium and a significantly higher excess. The premium is still similar to other quotes though. On recieving the policy details I see that there is an added bonus of outpatient non emergency medical services. Reviewed on: 10th October 2024
