Ripoff Bank

Had an ISA for years

I normally operate my account online but on the few occasions I have had to go into branch for advice/help the staff have been very helpful and acted quickly to solve any problems Reviewed on: 27th July 2017

Easy to use and access

I found it simple to set up this account via the online banking service of my existing current account with HSBC, and I can access it on the same screen to move money with ease and check the current balance. The interest rate is poor, but I trust the bank and in the current financial climate, I found few places offering better rates. Reviewed on: 4th July 2017

HSBC Loyalty ISA

The rate is pretty poor and I would not recommend. Customer service for this product has been particularity bad with long waits in call lines and unhelpful advisors. I will move to a better product at my next available chance. Reviewed on: 8th September 2016

Getting reliable service from 5 years. Although the staff is untrained. If you go 3 times for the same reason and speak with 3 different staff member they say 3 different stories

Regular saver is a good option

I've held a regular saver with HSBC for 3 years and will continue to do so until the rates become uncompetitive. The regular saver pas a good rate of interest, is easy to open and easy to manage at the annual maturity. I communicate with HSBC via secure message for this account and have found them to be prompt and efficient. I would recommend this account to anyone trying to get a bit more bang for their buck in this low interest rate market Reviewed on: 1st September 2016
