Advice, manageable loans & support

I had financial difficulties around eight years ago. I popped into my branch in Hull and plucked up the courage to ask to speak to someone who might be able to advise me. I was very upset and in a situation I thought I couldn’t get out off. The staff were marvellous and reassuring. I ended up taking out a load and they helped me sort my bills out in the office. By consolidating my debt and paying off creditors (the staff dealt with them) I received peace of mind and was able to start sleeping at night. I received advice for in the future that I stuck to. My loan was taken out over four years and was a far more manageable amount each month (compared to my debt) . I returned to the branch once I’d paid the final payment to tell the same staff that she had actually changed my life for the better with her advice and kindness. I will never be able to thank the Hull branch enough for the support they gave me. My account is still open as a small savings account and I’m still completely debt free four years on.
