DO NOT TRUST YOUR MONEY WITH HyperJar.

DO NOT TRUST YOUR MONEY WITH HYPERJAR HyperJar offers an attractive product, but unfortunately, customer service—the most critical aspect—is where they fall short. Recently, my account was frozen after receiving funds from a known sender. I was asked to provide documents to verify the transaction and complied, sending everything they requested. The compliance email from HyperJar specifically stated: “Proof of the source of funds (such as a payslip, a bank receipt, or statement) for the following” As this was a self-employment payment, I couldn’t provide a payslip. However, the sender kindly supplied a bank receipt with full details, including the Faster Payment reference. When I submitted this to HyperJar, their response was: “Unfortunately, a payment receipt would not usually be sufficient to verify the source of funds.” This contradictory response highlights the inconsistency and ineffectiveness of their support team. The email also mentioned: “As soon as we receive and verify the requested documents, we can complete our review.” This was misleading. The so-called “compliance team” operates behind a smokescreen; they don’t provide a direct contact number, personal emails, or even respond with a representative’s name. There’s no timeline or ETA, leaving customers in the dark. HyperJar’s customer service is a web of empty promises. Their responses on Trustpilot are purely for show—to boost their rating and attract new customers, not to resolve issues. Don’t be deceived by the positive reviews; they don’t prioritize real customer concerns. Even trying to file a formal complaint is another layer of frustration. Their complaint procedure, stated on the website, includes: “How to make a complaint? •. Using the chat featureApp • Emailing us at: • Sending mail to us at HyperJar, However, if you try to initiate a complaint via live chat, you’ll either be disconnected or told to send an email—which often goes unanswered. DO NOT TRUST YOUR MONEY WITH HYPERJAR. Their “customer service” is just a facade, and they do not care about resolving your concerns. Reviewed on: 18th November 2024

Saves me a lot of money

HyperJar vouchers is a very neat concept.

HyperJar vouchers is a very neat concept. I especially like that now I can pay for my vouchers through apple pay - not many voucher providers offer this mode of payment. As a preload card I think it’s probably fairly standard. Their customer service wait times are short enough, and moreover the staff at least seem to have a positive energy and enthusiasm for the products, as well as knowledge. Reviewed on: 26th May 2024

Perfect account for spending money abroad!

Able to spend money abroad without incurring extra fees, as well as get a real time currency conversion at the time of spending. Can move money to different jars in order to save for different things or to budget. Reviewed on: 24th April 2024
